Coast2Bay Housing Group wins ‘Highly Commended Award’ at 2017 Australian Housing Institute Awards

Coast2Bay was Highly Commended for the 2017 Queensland Leading Housing Development Project Award at the Australasian Housing Institute PROFESSIONAL EXCELLENCE IN HOUSING AWARDS in May 2017.  The award was for the Homes4Life Project in conjunction with Ausmar Homes and Synapse.  The home provides independent living for those with disabilities.

 Daliya House awarded ‘Leading Housing Development Project’

In December 2014, Coast2Bay opened the doors of a trial crisis accommodation centre for homeless people dealing with non-acute mental illness.  The facility, now known as ‘Daliya House’ in Nambour, involving the conversion of existing office space into bespoke shared accommodation and on-site carer assistance.

In April 2015 (just four months after opening the doors), Daliya House was awarded ‘Leading Housing Development Project’ at the Australasian Housing Institute (Queensland) ‘Professional Excellence in Housing Awards’.

Coast2Bay is delighted to announce that local builder Vantage Building Group and the ‘Daliya House’ project in Nambour have been awarded  the HIA Specialised Housing Award 2015 for the Sunshine Coast region. This is the second award presented for the Daliya House facility since opening in December 2014, and this time demonstrating accommodation designed and built to meet the specific needs of individuals and future occupants.
