Partnership and collaboration is the foundation of Coast2Bay Housing Group.

We work in partnership with local communities, community service agencies, the private sector, charities and all levels of government to provide appropriate secure and affordable rental housing to Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay communities and people in need.

Tenants and clients

We work with our tenants and clients to meet their needs and proactively seek feedback to continually improve our services.

Community agency partners

We work closely with a wide range of social service organisations, community centres and key government and non-government organisations.

In some instances, specific housing and support models have been developed, e.g. to provide long term, secure accommodation for tenants with special needs, and enable support organisations to provide the tenant with ongoing support.

Government

Our partnership with the State Government through the Department of Housing and Public Works is crucial in funding programs or properties to subsidise the cost of housing. This successful partnership has grown steadily for over 21 years and is expanding as we jointly develop and deliver more services.

Partnerships with local Councils and State and Federal governments are critical to providing land, capital funding and supportive community housing policy. Coast2Bay has developed a strong working relationship with the Department of Housing and Public Works and enjoys the status of being the largest community housing provider on the Sunshine Coast.

Sunshine Coast Regional Council – we have a strong working relationship with Council developed over 15 years. This has included support for local housing projects, housing forums, development of our organisation as a contemporary vehicle for community and affordable housing development and joint ventures.

Noosa Shire Council

We have a strategic working partnership with Noosa Shire Council to provide support in the development of community housing.
